Matasaku Yoshimura founded Yoshimura Soap Factory in Ushigome, Tokyo.
1914
Awarded a Silver Medal for its Soap Sculpture at Tokyo Taisho Exposition.
1922
Mataichiro Yoshimura, first son of Matasaku, founded Yoshimura Oil Company.
1940
Matasaku Yoshimura passed away.
1948
Eikichi Yoshimura, fifth son of Matasaku, started manufacturing margarine in Yoshimura Oil Company.
1950

Started selling margarine for home use as "Milk Marin" brand name.
1957
Eikichi Yoshimura founded Milk Marin Corporation with capital of 8 million yen in Toyonaka, Osaka.

Opened a business office in Fukuoka.

With the cooperation of New Zealand Daily Board, Milk Marin started manufacturing processed cheese. It transitioned from home-use to industrial-use with the quality low-melting magrgarine as its main product.

Corporate name was changed to Marinfood Company.
Opened a business office in Tokyo.

Started manufacturing hotcakes.

Opened an office in Sapporo (later a business office).

Started manufacturing shredded cheese for pizza.
With the seventh capital increase, the capital has reached 70 million yen.

Changed from convertible bond to stocks. The capital reached 90 million yen as now.

Eikichi Yoshimura, founder of Marinfood, passed away on April 14.
Naoki Yoshimura, then Managing Director and son of Eikichi, assumed the presidency.

Started manufacturing portioned margarine.
